How can i use data import feature to create materials in MDG from application server? i have a requirement of creating 10k materials all together and want to run job in backend, because if i run it in foreground i get time out error, so using Import master data feature to run it in backend

Hi, please check this guide - basically, create IDoc XMLs somehow and place them on the application server, or create CSVs and implement the conversion BAdI in the Data Import Framework (DIF).

If you read note: 2214409 - SAP S/4HANA, on-premise edition 1511: Compatible Add-ons. You would expect not, if it is not mentioned in the compatible add-on list.
And in PAM MDG 8.0 is mentioned as an Add-on product.
S/4Hana 1503 and MDG 8.0 are compatible (see note 2103558). And there is upgrade path from 1503 to 1511. So this is weird!

Hi Riyaj,
You cannot assign a Data Element with domain referring to value table which has multiple key fields for an attribute in the Data Model . This is a standard MDG rule and cannot be violated.
So create and use a custom Domain and custom search help in the data model for the attribute ALNUM to meet your requirement.

Hi, as the ALNUM check table T606H contains the GEGRU as additional key fields, my answer from this threat also applies:
Two Type3 entities GEGRU, ALNUM with a leading relationship between them.
Include via referencing/qualifying relationship (as the case may be).

Hello everybody,
We are having a weird requirement to save unloading data after completion of change request. The user dont want to enter anything/ not even want to see it in application.
Basically the fields of unloading point they dont want it in data model. Is there anyway to save the data in R3 tables of unloading point just after activation of change request. They want some default values should be save aftr completion of create change request.
Is there any possibility that we can save these data without having it in data model.

I'm trying to configure parallel MDGM CR on Sales Area
i.e. partial locking only on MVKE* entities to be able to process sales data of the same material in two separate CRs
When I've added MVKE* entities to CR's scope the system forced me to add MLANSALES as well (dependencies)
The problem is that MLANSALES has no Sales Org./Distr. Channel in key, but just Country
So when I add Sales Area data in one CR and then try to add another Sales Area (for the same maerial) in other CR the system shows message(s):
W: Derived data of Tax Classification for Sales with key AT 000000000030244611ZMWS is interlocked in change request 2608
E: You have not fully maintained the tax classifications
E: Assignment of material to Sales Org. CN11 Distr. Channel 30 incomplete
