We are using 'BUPA_INBOUND_MAIN_SAVE_M' message type for inbound IDOC which gives error 'No jurisdiction code could be determined' for Brazil.
Please suggest where and what value has to be configured for Brazil to avoid the error.

We did the upgrade from MDG Material 6.1 to 8.0 SP2 a few months ago and now have activated the Business Function 4-6 in our development system:
MDG_MATERIAL_4, MDG_MATERIAL_5, MDG_MATERIAL_6
MDG_FOUNDATION_4, MDG_FOUNDATION_5, MDG_FOUNDATION_6
When starting MDG the first time we get the error: Postprocessing of data model activation is not completed.
We tried to follow the instructions in the error help text. So wo went to the MDG customizing ... > Data Modeling > Generate Data Model-Specific Structures and Generate the structures for the model MM.
Now MDG in principal is working, we can create and activate a new material but still some warnings/errors occurs, telling us that a couple of generated structures to entities (e.g. MARAQTMNG ) are not existing.
When I go to the IMG activity Master Data Governance for Material > Data Model Mapping I see a couple of entities with red lights telling e.g.
"Reuse entity QMATBASIC ist not mapped", "Reuse acitve area structure for entity ... ot generated"
Any idea what is missing?

Dear All,
I have a requirement to add a custom long Text for Custom Text ID for MDG-M, The screen look Similar as to Standard (BSCDATTXT, PURCHTXT, QINSPTXT).
To fulfill This I have created a Custom Entity at data model level MDG-M
. Generate Model specif structure
. Done SMT Mapping
. Created a Composite UIBB and Linked with Standard UIBB.
. Create a wire for this
by doing my custom long text UIBB is visible as extra tab on MDG-M screen. I am able to add Long text for my custom Text id .
But this long text on final approval is not moved from Staging to active area.
Please let me know do I need to enhance Access class for this Or I need to Create new access class add to data model for that custom entity.
If any one has worked on this please let me know how to move data from staging to active area from custom long text.

Please look at ART.
It is in QMATBASIC as an attribute and is also an Entity.
This may be causing the conflict.

But it will be present as a type 3 entity also.

It depends upon where these fields are added in MDG. If there are part of SU01 then they should be mandatory by default.
But in this case if think they are part of SU04 hence you have to change atleast one field value for that entity to be part of Validations. Its MDG default functionality is that only SU01 validations are there by default and SU04 will be called only upon changes to that entity.
The other way to achieve it through ACROSS Entity BADI.
And F4 values are to do with Data element or check table assigned, please check them once.

Hi all,
I found that for Group account creation is imperative create FSI entity. I cannot found the standard procedure in a document. Create first FSI CR or first ACCOUNT CR. In any case, I have a request to create only one CR to create both entities. Like CELEM (Cost Element), ACCOUNT CR allows one-step creation of CELEM. How can we automatize this process? Once ACCOUNT CR is activated, the FSI will be create and activate automatically.

Also check the code for Brazil in below path.

2.Hana Search it is mandatory to implement the DB search.

I need to derive some characteristics values in Classification UIBB based on some parameters.
Details as below-
1) Class type is 300
2) Custom Class is Zxxxxxx
3) Characteristic is Zxxxx, which is having lets say 10 values.
Based on some parameters these characteristics values need be derived.
Q1) Is derivation possible in Classification UIBB as these parameters are in another UIBB?
Q2) How to achieve this?

Dear experts. I want that the description field of an attribute in the UIBB will be automatically populated soon after selection. I changed at the drop down selection of FPM Event ID for onEnter under action assignment tab into FRW_UPDATE (Aktualisieren). But this didn´t fix the problem.

I'm am currently extending MARM and the UNITOFMSR entity with some custom fields.
Here's what I did:
Here comes the problem - whenever I try to start or continue a process in MDG I get a short dump with description:
Two internal tables are not compatible or convertible
I have extended hundreds of fields the same way and never encountered this issue. The dump is happening in standard method read_entity_buffer of class CL_USMD_GOV_API:

I've highlighted in bold the problem when it hits one of the UNITOFMSR buffer entries. I can see no difference between et_data and <lt_data> at the time of the dump except that et_data is a sorted table and <lt_data> a standard table.
Any ideas on what could be causing the problem and how to solve?

We are configuring central finance system but came across an issue with value mapping. We are getting an error message 'No code list configured for GTEL , GDT BUKRS and Bus. Sys ..
1.Assign code lists to elements and systems under value mapping, we maintained
Type-DTEL ,GDT-BUKRS, Internal list id-01 list id-BUKRS, List version id-01 also maintained business system and agency id.
2.under maintain value mapping fields
Under SPRO->Central Finance
Under SPRO-> central finance we only maintained set actions for mapping entity as Obligatory. Is there anything else we need to maintain for bukrs value mapping under CF node.
Is internal code list id is correct?
