Do you mean to say, if the edition contains any data( CR ) it can't be deleted?
I believe If the CR's are open only then we can't delete the edition.As Once the CR is approved data get's stored in MDG table and hence from the MDG end the workflow end's.
Release of edition is related to distribution of Master data into different landscapes.
Hence deletion of released edition is also not possible.
Deletion is possible for the edition only if number is 0. Number here refer's to the Open CR's.
Here in my scenario, the CR(with status: Finally approved) exist for the edition.
Please correct me if I'am wrong and approaching an Incorrect way in practice.
